Managed Funds

Australian Ethical will inform relevant investors of any significant events that may affect them. This can be in the form of a Significant Event Notice (SEN) which is sent to investors via email or letter, or in the form of News and Updates.

The following is a summary of SENs and Important Updates for Managed Funds.

December 2024 Australian Ethical Managed Funds

Benchmark Change – Diversified Shares Fund

We've made changes to the benchmark for the Australian Ethical Diversified Shares Fund, effective 2nd December 2024.

The current blended benchmark of 75% S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index and 25% MSCI World ex Australia Index will be updated to a blended benchmark of 75% S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index and 25% MSCI World ex Australia Index.

This change ensures that the benchmark better reflects the investment universe and strategy of the fund, as the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index provides broader market coverage compared to the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index.

The updated benchmark offers a more comprehensive representation of the Australian equities market while maintaining alignment with the fund's objective, which is to ‘track the blended benchmark of 75% S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index and 25% MSCI World ex Australia Net Total Return Index, before taking into account fees and expenses, over a seven-year period.
