Chair and Non-Executive Director

Fiona chairs and is Non-Executive Director of the Australian Ethical Superannuation Pty Limited Board and is a Member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and the Insurance and Benefits Committee. Fiona has more than 30 years’ global experience in the financial services and superannuation sector.

She served as the CEO of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) for over nine years, stepping down at the beginning of 2022. She joined the PRI from the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST), where she spent seven years as CEO.

Fiona was named one of the 20 most influential people in sustainability globally by Barron’s magazine and has twice been named one of Australia’s one hundred women of influence by the Australian Financial Review.

Steve chairs the Nominations Committee, is a Member of the People & Remuneration Committee and a Member of the Australian Ethical Superannuation Pty Limited Insurance and Benefits Committee. He is a Director of Australian Ethical Superannuation Pty Limited and Chair of Australian Ethical Foundation Limited.

Steve has extensive experience at both an executive and non-executive level in the investment and superannuation industries, including being a former CEO of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, a former CEO of what is now Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation and a non-executive director of Hastings Funds Management and Westpac Funds Management. Steve has been recognised for his commitment to, and expertise in, ethical and responsible investing.

Mark is a financial services executive with more than 30 years leadership experience across, superannuation, insurance and asset management industries. He is Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.

Mark was CEO of ESSSuper for a decade having joined the fund as CFO. Following ESSSuper, Mark joined MLC Life Insurance (now Acenda) as Chief Group Life Insurance Officer.

Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne. Mark is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Louise is a marketing and digital executive with more than 30 years leadership experience across mining, health, banking, superannuation and asset management.

Louise’s most recent executive roles included Chief Marketing Officer of legalsuper, Chief Marketing Officer of Vanguard Australia and Group General Manager Marketing of ANZ Banking Group Limited.

Louise’s current Non-Executive portfolio includes Hunter Water Corporation, NSW Rural Assistance Authority, Afford, Garden Village, Netball Australia and she is Chair of Hastings Co-op.

Louise has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), MBA (Exec), a qualified Company Director, Certified Chair and Certified Aged Care Chair and certifications from Harvard University in Sustainable Business Strategy and Sustainable Investing.
