$2,000 grant for a purpose-driven student to pursue their dreams

We’re avid believers in the power of business to do good and the power of the individual to make a difference. And we know the next generation of leaders will take purpose-driven businesses to the next level.

The challenge

Tell us in 1,200 words or less how you plan to build a better world.

Include details about the course you’re currently studying and how you think your education will help you make real, positive change in the world. You may have plans to help people in need, care for animals or protect the environment – whatever it is we want to hear about it. And, just so we know you’re a responsible human being, tell us how you plan to spend the $2,000 grant if your application is successful.

The deets

Entry is open to all students currently enrolled in Australian higher education.

Australian Ethical will have the right to quote and paraphrase the winner’s submission.

The grant payment of AUD $2,000 can only be paid into an Australian bank account. While there is no age or nationality restrictions, the winner will need to provide us with proof of current Australian higher education enrolment details before payment of the grant will be made.

Final entries close at 5:00pm AEST 5 June 2017. The winner will be notified by email on the 23 June 2017.

The prize

You’ll win AUD$2,000 as a study grant for you to spend however you like!

  • publish your application as an article on the Good Money blog
  • promote your win to selected media outlets
  • feature more info about you and your ideas on Australian Ethical’s social media channels.
